That's the long way around. The original problem is the difference of two squares. (20^20 - 4) = (20^10 - 2)(20^10 + 2) = (1024 -2)(1024 + 2) = (1022)(1026) = 1, 048, 572. Now wasn't that easy.

I calculated it at calculator and it is 100 percent true

I know it's 1, 048, 572 but that's because I know what 2^20 is. I guess you could go 2^20-2^2 2^18(2^2-2^0) but that doesn't speed it up. I guess we'll watch the video.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER HAVING 2 BEING MULTIPLIED 20 TIMES AND THEN SUBTRACT 4.
