I’ve had a sinus infection for about 4 months now and the pressure in my head is UNBEARABLE at times like your heads gonna split it’s crazy. Just started taking antibiotics and am getting a CT scan done in a few days and I absolutely can’t wait. Wish me luck I think I need it.

My cousin had the same issue was in the hospital for months. Had to have brain surgery because of a sinus infection. My grandma was angry because it had gone for so long untreated. Thank God he’s alive and about to graduate high school in a couple of years. It’s been almost 9 years.

I had a mild sinus infection but the doctors in the public healthcare system in romania, which is a totally failed healthcare system didn't help me treat it, all their basic treatments were worthless, done without taking a sample and doing an antibiogram, just random pills and generic antibiotic for years.
Skip forward 15 years after that, and now I had to get surgery, it got really bad, I'm still dealing with it, I have a good doctor now for the most part, but It's private hospital so I had to pay thousands of euros, and still didn't fix the problem, not all doctors are good, some are really terrible at their job and put our lives in danger, pick a good doctor, don't trust just any doctor

Nobody described to what degree that kid’s condition was in order to cause an alarm for concern.
What was so traumatic about that kid’s symptoms and condition was making him close to death?

Ima a survivor of this deadly sinus problem I had to get head surgery I would sleep for weeks Every day I would wake up just to eat a bite of food or a sip of water and I’d go right back to sleep my head swole up and after the surgery My head took like 3 years to heal 🤞🏿

I feel for him and his parents .My son and I suffer with sinus infections as well & we have allergies. We have to be careful where we work at and so on, however I can't help to wonder if anything's being stuck up their nose to test for something had anything to do with this infection going to his brain? I'm glad you're better and I'm glad your parents stuck for you . God bless!

I lost a friend last March from a sinus infection, a fungus got into her sinus infection and into her brain and it took her life quickly.... 😞

My friend has had a sinus infection for over a year and then she pulled out a parasite. It was over an inch long and white and skinny. Upon looking up information of long lasting sinus infections, they can often be caused by parasitic infections, as well as other health issues.

People fly in from all over the world to be treated there.
My aunt went to 3 different hospitals with no results.

I am 40y and I had a sinus infection that eroded my upper sinus cavity into my brain. H-flu Bacteria meningitis is what it turned into. They had to fix a CSF leak and they removed my upper sinuses. 8 months later I am still struggling with sinusitis.

I had an extra for another body part but my head was in the X-ray. The dr. Came in with officers and staff and asked my husband to leave the room. They then asked me how many times have I been abused by my husband, I started laughing not realizing they were serious. They showed me the X-ray which it appeared my skull had a serious fracture. And I was like I have no recollection of even falling my husband is the kindest person. We have never raised are hand to our children or pets. They had the X-rays then sent to I guess some one in Nuero who said this is actually a serious sinus infection so serious it is presenting like a bone fracture. I have had sinus surgery. It did not help. I am so happy this child’s mother was diligent and knew her son well enough to know that he was seriously sick and needed help even after 2 ER visits. You cannot trust anyone sometimes you must go with your gut, she is an amazing person and deserves many accolades.

I'm scared it's been a week now for me I couldn't take it when my headache kicked in 2 days ago went straight to an emergency room started my antibiotics 2 days ago my head ache calming down but I really hope anyone suffering right now with Any sickness you recover strength and energy ❤❤

They shouldn’t have to be persistent… doctors should take patients serious… actually take the time and make sure you aren’t sending ppl home to die..
