I have never heard of mochi. I will try it. It doesn't look anywhere near diabetic friendly, but I would still like to make it for a chest day. I've subscribed. Thank you for posting! Blessings and health on you and yours and to all who read this! 😘👍😇💖

I’m lactose intolerant so I just store my red bean paste mochi in the freezer and then eat it while it’s still cold and slightly firm, yum 🤤

Never eaten or made these before but a lot of people seem to love them. It's probably time I made some :D And I must say, you saying that it was going to be the easiest recipe made me real happy, as the concept itself was always intimidating for me ;P Also, I love bean based dessert (brownies, cookies etc) so they will probably be a hit for me :D
.
Anyways, thank you for teaching us how to make such a great treat and ceaselessly expanding our perspective on what's possible!
Have a fabulous week ahead and stay safe!

How about a vegan chocolate merengue pie? Using aquafaba for the merengue and some of your dairy replacement and xanthan gum for the custard.

Heyyy Vsauce! Michael here. So...Mochi, one of the world's most inexplicable wonders. Ice cream, but yet, somehow, chewy. Scientists have spent Where did it come from? How did it come to exist? Why do we live inside of it? How does it hold all of us? Researcher's say it's IN the TEXture...

We have something similar in our culture also made from rice flour and it is a dessert and you also stretch it. But no beans lol

I never tried mochi but im gonna reward myself after being sick with covid. There's a few asian stores that carry it, but they're a bit expensive.

Also, don't you reflect on how did people came up with these unique ideas? It is always fascination to me how many concepts were fully accidental inventions :D

One of the things that I just cannot find anyone doing is a vegan kielbasa or andouille sausage. I adored smoked sausage and would love to see a way I could learn to make a convincing alternative. Love your channel.

Great recipe that looks real easy, but I don't have a microwave. Is there any way to do it without a microwave?

If you hate the taste of corn starch, you can use powdered sugar instead, I prefer to mix it in equal parts with corn starch.
