I agree. I do 3-1-1: 3 hours at 200-225, then 1 hour wrapped in aluminum with sauce at 250, then 1 hour rested in the aluminum in a cooler. Sometimes i do the aluminum foil boat uncovered on the top for more smoke taste.

The link to the recipe for great ribs that you mentioned at the end seems to be absent. This is a recipe Myron Mixon described in a video I watched a few years ago:

-marinade for 2-4 hours (OJ, gingerale, worchestershire, salt and dry ranch dressing)
- apply your dry rub
-cook 275 for an hour each side
-wrap with cup of apple juice and cook another hour
-glaze with marinade and cook for 8 minutes.
