The novel, "Uncle Tom's Cabin" is quite a good read and received a lot of attention when it was first published. ms. Stowe was accused of fabricating the story to cast slavery in as poor of a light as possible, so she published "The Key to Uncle Tom's Cabin" which documents all the source of the original stories she drew from to write the novel.

Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote on the real cases that she knew on the slavery. This book caused that much people in the U.S.A. knew what happened. today Many reject this unreal or old fashioned book like; nevertheless it is good that youth reads it since has a great literary value and it informs to us into which happened and that still happens in different forms and different places.
