Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game, in the brutal lands of Conan The Barbarian. You are an exile, one of thousands cast out to fend for themselves in a barbaric wasteland swept by terrible sandstorms and besieged on every side by Enemies. Here you must fight to survive, build and dominate.

Hungry, thirsty and alone, your very first battle is that against the harsh environment. Grow crops or Hunt animals for food. Harvest Resources to Craft Weapons and Tools. Build a shelter to survive. Ride across a vast world and explore alone, or band together with other players to build entire Settlements and Strongholds to withstand fierce invasions.

When strong enough, march forth into battle and wage war against your enemies as you fight to dominate the exiled lands. Can’t wait for a bigger clan raiding my with those. Especially when their explosive head golems suddenly glitch into my workshop, destroying all my benches if I kill them.

You say you only get Whats in golem’s inventory when they die but you can also mine there dead body to get blood crystals

The golems generally don't harvest like they're supposed to; making them practically worthless...except as base defenders. Even when they harvest, they are very slow. Since you can't command them to harvest, you have to rely on their autonomy; that rarely works unless you immediately place them as a guard in a resource rich area after building the golem.

the lightning rod head is a very very rare drop, it can drop on top of the guardian towers in the small iron chest
i only could acquire myself 1, after like 100 tries
but the lightning rod can defenently spawn there

i dont know if its a bug or if its intended since its a nightmare to climb that high on offi stats

I used full stam, 3 people to climb on top of and standard climbing gear and a potion of stamina or whatever its called

Many say that the Golems aren't useful at all but I've found them quite useful for a couple things. If you place them just outside the walls to your base and your in a zone with a few resources, I've found they're an excellent way to top of on any cooking resources.

What I mean is this: while Golems might not harvest enough to mass produce bricks or ingots for construction, you can place the standard stone they harvest in a Grindstone to get Salt, and you can place the Bark in to get Spices. If Aloe is near your base you could also make a Scythe Golem to harvest the Aloe and Berries. This allows you to keep your food pantry consistently restocked without doing much other than hunting for some meats!

If these are expensive then in my opinion there should be some level of repair. I’m not saying fully repair though but maybe you can repair them to a point, like repair kits and as they take damage their maximum health goes down. So they can start off at 10k but after a fight that nearly kills them they can only be reasonable repaired up to 7k due to the damage. Like the rock golem lost parts of its body but you can repair/seal the cracks. Maybe the deflection system procs more then I think but I have a feeling it’s not going to pop as much as I’m hoping. Just my two cents.

I remember seeing someone saying that the golems should get a bow weapon and I thought to myself. Hmm I do agree but I would like their bows be like the Great Bow from Elden Ring. Pros: Longer Range/High Velocity/High Damage/90% Knockdown/Small damaging AOE on Impact. Cons: Slow Rate of Fire, Unable to Move while pulling bow. Arrows Must be crafted with higher end materials.

Do they have to be following to harvest, or can we go full soul mask and automate?
