Fluance RT81 High Fidelity Turntable | Unboxing First Impressions #vinylcommunity @FluanceSpeakers

So for a while now, I have been looking at different turntables to possibly purchase and replace my 8 in 1 Victrola music media station. The CD player went out on the Victrola, and I replaced it with a standalone Phillips CD player with shelf speakers. But the more I am into vinyl collecting and listening to records the more I wanted a quality turntable to play them on. Well, as you know, you can pretty much pay anything you want for one but I was not wanting to pay a fortune for one. So I looked on YouTube and found a couple of videos that showed the top five turntables in 2023. Both videos that I watched mentioned this Fluance RT81 as in the top five and actually top pick for value and quality. So I got on Amazon and ordered one for $249 and just got it in and thought I would do a quick unboxing and let you guys see this and play a vinyl on it for the first time on video. I had ready to play the scarecrow album by John Cougar Mellencamp. I have listened to about a half a dozen records so far back to back, and this seems to be a great record player. I would like to get the matching speakers for another $249 but I must wait a couple weeks to save that up. Or I guess I could use another credit card… does it really matter in the end, you know I’m going to purchase them at some point! I’m not going to leave a link to this product as you can simply look up that company on Amazon, and it will come up with all of their record players and speakers. I have the same turntable! Love it! WAY better than the AT-LP60 I had previous. I gave that one to my daughter. Great video!

Back in the day I had an Awia turntable and Pioneer Headset and speakers but mostly listened to music thru a Realistic Headphone set. Ahhhh, those were the days.

That is indeed a good looking turntable Brian. Great choice. I've heard nothing but good things about their performance as well. I sometimes consider modernizing my old Pioneer, but then the realization strikes me, I can't afford that! Lol! Or rather, money spent on that subtracts from my record purchases. Enjoy the spinning. Terrific Mellencamp lp to spin as it sounds really good. I see that 1984 at the end shot that sounds real good to my ears too! Cheers bud!

Looks like a really nice turntable. You know I had a chance to see John Cougar back in the 80s. He came to our town with Farm Aid. Was a free concert. I didn't go. Had no clue who he was lol. I believe Willie Nelson was there too. I was just a dumb kid. Didn't realize what I was missing. Anyway, be very cool if those peeps would send you the matching speakers. Told Jessie I want to get the record player up here. Think we may have to find some speakers that aren't the old ratty ones we have. Also think we're going to hang the tv. Then I won't have to buy a new entertainment stand too. It's a whole thing. And I was wrong. Our record player is a pioneer. And it has a separate piece that the turntable can sit on that has the 8 track and radio combo.
