I have never seen such a great tecniche, studying for 5 minutes and relaxing for 25 is amazing!

For those that pause the timer and get distracted, do not beat yourself up.

This takes practice, sometimes you'll only get five minutes, sometimes three, sometimes fifteen.

It does get easier over time. Simply try again until you can do the 25 mins. I certainly believe in you.

I LOVE this technique. I accidentally finished my paper 2 days early. I have never done that before.

To everyone who's studying with this video:

Checklist:

• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧

• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋

• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧

• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕

• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨️

• Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈

Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.

You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. 📖

I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight 😴🧸

I just studied for two hours for a test I wasn't even planning to study for. This really helps me push. The last was hard, but I couldn't give up with only 25 minutes left!

So basically it’s a test of how many chips I can eat in 5 minutes?

Challenge accepted.

put this on 2x speed and study twice as fast. You're welcome!

Edit: Ok seriously.. what are yall doing in the comments section?? Get the hell back to your studies. Unless of course you're on your five minute break :)!! Push through it brother/sister you got this!!!

I procrastinated for the first 5 hours of the day, convincing myself I would study but kept getting distracted by Youtube videos. After Isat my but down and was like, "YOU have to finish studying for the 19292292 million tests tomorrow- I searched up Pomodoro". Just as soon as this 2 hour session was done, I finished making my AP Psych quizlet. Thank you so much- I was so hyper focused with this! Will use again after like 10 minutes for my next session

its crazy knowing that once your motivated with this method, you finish way quicker than you expected. Like my usual homework time is about 4 hours and I did my homework and finished in 2 hours.

I like how the most re-played moments are the breaks

Because of corona, a lot of things changed in my daily habits...(my level of laziness reached a new level...) I should be graduating in January and have only 2 classes to study by myself (you would think: easy shit) But I have been delaying my work for 3-4 months now, I was starting to feel desperate. Youtube recommended me this video...that can't be a coincidence hahaha. For the first time in 3-4 months, I can say I did a lot of productive schoolwork thanks to this video! Going to start using this from now on to study and to finish my assignments! Thanks for sharing this and good luck to all the fellow students with their studies.

UPDATE: Graduated and working full time! God is good! (And so is this video)

Secondary student here, I use this technique only for science subjects but not arts so i can brainstorm more ideas without pressure, just wanna say it’s ok if this method doesn’t apply to u or the subjects you’re studying, sometimes it doesn’t necessarily make u more productive

OMG! most effective study schedule I have ever used! 2 hours used to seem like an eternithy, now I don't even feel the time passing.
And when I'm tired, knowing i only have to push for a few more minutes before having a break is such a relieve and motivation to keep going!

Thanks for the Pomodoro!

Hello there 😊just in case you need motivation right now- here are my favourite quotes.

*You don't have to be perfect, just get better everyday.

*Tomorrow you will WISH you had started today.

*Even 1 Month of hardcore focus and alignment can put you years ahead in life. Never underestimate the power of consistency and desire. You have what it takes to become the best you can be. Never doubt yourself. You can exceed your expactations.

If you want you can share your favourites too. I'd love to read yours as well 😊

btw, if you do this for longer, you MUST take a biiig break (30mins) after 6 or was it 8 repetitions. it an important part of the technique.

This is the first time i've used this technique and because of this i could study for 1 hour and 15 minutes without being distracted (which i have never done), this is a great technique I totally recommend it!

This works for things other than studying, too, like cleaning, certain kinds of cooking/food prep, self care, and so on. I have 0 issues studying or doing homework asap but have my issues in actually taking care of myself. this helps a lot lmao
