Makes me even happier that we have an AMD Reference RX 6800 in the house. Picked it up new/still sealed as a former miners leftover unopened stock in September 2022 for $423. Was looking for a 6800 XT, but this card continues to satisfy. Plus it is a 2 slot card that still cools just fine, and has many case options. Thanks for the fine review!

Have had my 6800xt for about a month now with my new build. Really loving it. Almost went with the 4070 and/or 6950xt, but the older 6800xt was over a hundred dollars cheaper compared to those two other cards. Considering the limited amount of gaming I do these days, I thought it was wise decision despite being older tech. Really helped to keep everything within budget. Put the extra $$$ towards more memory.

RX 6800 is the best bc of its performance to watt ratio. The RTX 3080 is a bit faster but has a huge power consumption compared to the rx 6800

Wow this is the best video comparing these 4 cards out there. I viewed many but this one is the best. I was trying to decide between the rx 6800 and 3080 and price to performance the rx 6800 is the wisest choice and I'm sure with some OC it would pretty much be up to par with the rest. Lol 4070 is almost equal to an RX6800, they also have the same power consumption but 6800 has 16GB VRAM. However Ngreedia costs 30% more...wow what a fail

I'm almost sure RX 6800 can produce the same amount or more FPS as the RTX 3080 if you run it at 250W. And it'd still be more energy efficient, cooler and quieter.

Damn, didn't know the 4070 sucked that bad in pure rasterization performance. It can't even keep up with the 3 year old 3080 in some titles and with the majority of them barely outperforming it. 4070 should definitely drop down to $400ish dollars.

I bought a 3080 long ago, but it started acting up on me - bought a 6800 for $399 and now I'm thinking I'll RMA the 3080 and keep the 6800. The power efficiency will probably save me on power bills and keep the house cooler. I might be an AMD convert.
