People who know history are doomed to watch the people who don't know history repeat it.

2:24 without supporting evidence for a claim, we don't just assume the opposite. We reasonably must take the neutral "i don't know" position.

Monty Pythons original title brought me here.
Wired should've called this piece "Another lame attempt at burying Pizzagate."

For people that don't have logical reasoning: If I say "There is a huge invisible/undetectable dinosaur next to me" is it up to you to disprove me (which isn't possible in this hypothetical scenario)? Or up to me to prove that it is there and if I can't I should be considered incorrect and advised to be sent to a mental clinic. Very logical to me I don't understand how people don't get it.

Every time I provide proof to an argument they stop responding. I want a thank you for once... Educating stupid people is hard work...

1:35 "it's the bedrock of the American legal system"

Er actually its the bedrock of British Common law, which was later adopted by America.

The sad thing about trying to argue and prove points to people is that most of the time the person/group you are trying to convince will either be too dim to fully comprehend your position, too apathetic to care about it, or too stubborn to consider changing theirs. This is especially true online.
Arguing with people online really serves no purpose most of the time. You'd be better off trying to explain the concept of burden of proof to your dog.
But I'll be damned if I dont engage in pointless internet arguments anyway 😂

I'm sorry. I'm not allowed to argue unless you pay.

Proof lies on he who asserts not he who denies. That's powerful and freeing

Holy production values, batman! Were the first three eps so successful you were able to hire a lighting and sound guy? (Not that the first 3 were bad!)

While this video is very illuminating, unfortunately I don't see how this helps to fight anything. The people making unreasonable and assertive claims will never watch this and think or understand, "Oh this video has a point."

1:09 I think that was a trick message, he said that to prove exactly what you said about his tweet because people use double negatives on him all the time.

So... if we can't prove Bill Gates eats breakfast, we have to assume he's a robot, since robots don't eat food?
