PC making weird noise. (Fixed)

To be honest it could have been anything like a loose screw or a fan hitting something. Cleaned her up, put the whole thing back together and hasn't had the problem since.
If and when this occurs again I'll make a follow up video.
Don't watch the end segment with children around, trust.

For anyone affected by this, it could be a few things,
1. The PC is simply dirty, and dust and debris are causing your fans to struggle to work properly. This is the easiest to fix, all you have to do is physically clean your PC. Grab a can a compressed air, and blow out everything in the PC. Be sure to get the tough to reach spots. I.E. behind the dust filter, under the CPU heatsink, etc.

2. (my problem) the outlet you have your system plug into, isn't providing your PC enough power. Perhaps because it's being overloaded by multiple devices. There are a few things you can try here. First, try unplugging a few devices from outlets connected to the same breaker. I.E. TVs you don't use, or other electronic devices. second, if you're powering your system Via a power strip, or extension cord. try plugging it directly to a wall outlet.

3. You have a weak fan, but it is still working. This is the worst scenario and can be tough to diagnosis. Try to rule this out before trying anything else. First, take the side panel of the PC off. Or, if you have a window, simply look through it. Turn the PC on, and listen for the source of the odd noise. Depending on the speed of the dying fan, you may be able to see it spinning slower. If not, feel the airflow from each fan. And determine the culprit by which is blowing the least amount of air. If they all feel the same, or the sound is coming from the power supply, refer back to 1 & 2.

I hope this has helped you. If you're confused, feel free to ask me any time.

First thing you should do is carefully touch the center of your case fans one by one and your gpu fans until they stop to see if they are causing the noise. If that doesnt work, it could be the psu or hdd. Listen closely to the psu. Then use task manager to see if the hdd activity aligns with when the noise starts. Hopefully one of those will work if anyone else has this problem.

That is your computer changing gender to a snow blower. It is more common than you think.

Mine did that too... My problem was a failed PSU. It only happened after a cold startup, or when it had been in sleep mode for a while, but thank God you posted this! Now if it happens again, I can figure out how to fix it!

This is an old video but I want to say something. This PC is now 6 years old. I have not made any upgrades and this issue never came back.
Seems to me that this can be quite an uncommon issue. This video has more views than I would have expected.

HERE'S MY ADVICE, starting with what worked for me. Take everything apart from the motherboard. Inspect to see if anything is damaged or in the way, clean the parts, and put it all back together. Boot your system back up, with everything connected correctly mind you, and see if the problem still occurs.
Still happening? Monitor the performance on your GPU, CPU etc. on task manager. (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) See if anything is unnecessarily busting its back staying at 100%. If there is an application that is hindering your performance, try uninstalling and reinstalling. Still happening? There might be something running in the background that is corrupted. Next, save your precious files onto an external drive. Then reset your PC. I don't mean restart. Reset, like back to the factory settings as it was once called. It will take lots of time so prepare for that. (Start menu - Settings - Update and Security - Reset this PC - Get Started) I would advise to wipe everything from your drives since you saved everything you want on an external HD or whatever you used. Wait till it prompts you to set up you system, I recommend without an internet connection. Windows will try to add apps you won't care about. Hopefully all is fine now. No?
Looks like you got a hardware issue my friend. Do your best to pinpoint what It might be. Run your machine without a single component one by one. For example start up your PC without the GPU. If it's still there. Shut it off, attach the gpu back, and detach one HDD or SSD and try again. Don't forget about your AIO/CPU fan. It would be unfortunate if the problem was your power supply, hopefully you have another pc around that you can swap it with. Be mindful of the other psu's rating. Make sure it's strong enough. Still Happening? Throw it away.

youve probably figured this out by now but that was 100% your harddrive

I heard everything in crisp over my pc sound as it quiet. Could possibly be the power supply fan hitting internal cables inside or the radiator not having enough fluid to obtain a quiet lubricated sound.

Noisy fan bearing, or - worst case scenario - the pump for your AIO cooler, there. Use your finger to press on the MIDDLE of each fan (or gently hold a pen against the blades) one by one to stop them temporarily until you find the one that's making the noise, then replace it. If it's the AIO cooler REPLACE IT IMMEDIATELY.

Safe to say my computer did something. Similar and was making funny grind noise. After watching this video I try turning my pc back on and a notification appeared from the bios indicating that I had a cpu fan error. Thank god it’s something that simple

I was running a scan on my pc and I had a headache so I thought it would be best to have the scan run passively while the computer slept so I did that and went to sleep myself. Not more than 7 minutes into my sleep, my PSU fan jolts me awake with this god awful grating sound.
