Samsung needs to fix the Camera issues on the Galaxy S24 Ultra

I miss my S23 Ultra. It was stupidest thing to upgrade. They made it worse! S24 pictures colors, contrast & overall depth in pictures are very bad..

Its inconsistent, especially if you use the 50M or 200M lenses. The big issue is that they sometimes take great photos if the lighting and distance is just right. If not be ready for that insane post processing to annihilate your photos after a second or two

Absolutely making me think I will switch to iPhone or another brand after this. The fact we are STILL talking about the need to edit overexposure garbage pictures 9/10 times is not even frustrating: for a flagship at this cost it's downright embarrassing and I wish I could return the phone or sue Samsung for misrepresenting the camera.

We can disable filter or apply the filter in S24 Ultra, but the problem I’m experiencing is that the photo in the preview (before clicking the button) looks exactly how I want it. However, the moment I take the picture, my Samsung phone reprocesses it, and the actual photo doesn’t look the same as the preview. Is it just me, or is everyone experiencing this issue? The final selfie looks overexposed or strange—it doesn’t really look like me 😥

I just bought mine two weeks ago because is supposed to have the best camera.. the problem I am constantly having when trying to record video is that the focus is constantly delayed and so several spots in my video are blurry.. my little $180 Motorola didn't even have that problem.. I almost regret getting the s24 ultra

having had the s24 for a month now, the camera is sooo much worse than my note 20 ultra. Very dissapointing :(

If Samsung doesn't fix the cameras and give us the best of the best, then I'm just gonna go to the google phone. I've had enough of Samsung giving us mediocre quality at a premium price. It isn't fair. Aside from that their still giving us these cheap junk plastic s pens when they should and NEED to be made out of titanium for a premium feel and design because, again, especially for the price we pay.

You're 100% correct! It's the worst Galaxy camera I have ever used. Highly inconsistent in the pictures that it takes. You can not rely on the camera for good pictures.

The issue seems to be, it's auto enhancing images. Also the gallery app is kind jda broken. I see it change exposure by itself. Photos are adjust by that intelligence setting, whichlacks an off function. It kinda ruins all photos in 50m mode. 12m also has it but less. Don't understand why they have this feature now hard coded in. On android 13 it was a toggle scene enhancement, in the main app GUI. But this is gone and no we are left with this broken photo app. Also it's stated in RAW no color edits are done, which is also false. It still processes the image. Even that camera raw app does it. Kinda useless for raw shooting

I just switched from iPhone and I honestly would say that iPhone is less headache than S24.

One UI 6.1.1 should fix all this! I'd rather Samsung release 1 giant update vs. month to month increments like the S20 Ultra!

The night mode is horrible on the S23 Ultra. Everything is completely overexposed and oversharpened.
Imo oversharpening is a general issue on Samsung phones.

No Samsung need to release the OS update so the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro can have the same features on the S24 Ultra like on the ZFlip 6 or the ZFold 6.
