This the second method works, so what you have to do is type on the number *#0*# and you should see a screen with options like blue, vibration ect. DON'T CLICK ON ANYTHING, you should just wait until the line goes away. This worked for me and i hope this helped you :)

I'm surprised, the finger press on top of the phone worked on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. I had one pink vertical line. We'll see how long it stays away. Worth noting, I had my screen replaced a few months ago by a repair center "ifixit" in a Walmart near me. No issues since, but recently this pi k vertical line. Is this a failing ribbon cable connection?

I am baffled...method 1 actually worked on my S7 Edge. Lines are gone, it's magic. These pink lines are most often associated with a ribbon cable issue which is well known on the S7 Edge as a common problem. It's because the glue holding the phone together moves out of place and interferes with the ribbon cable. Apparently pressing on it can solve the problem.
