Japanese Chin’s are definitely extra. I had two, my sable and white female, Tia and my black and white male Kobe. They were fabulous dogs and lived long and happy lives. Tia was 16 plus years of age before she crossed the rainbow bridge and Kobe was 15 1/2. I highly recommend this breed and am surprised that they are not more popular since they are such a lovable, happy, intelligent, sweet and amazing breed. They are also not nippy and don’t bark much. They are supposed to be good watchdogs and whenever someone was on our front stoop our dogs would just sit and watch without saying a word! They were most definitely good watchdogs. LOL I miss my wonderful fur babies very much.

they are basic! But I have raised my 2 chins to be very extra! Because they deserve to be treated like the royalty that they are! I mean they were not bred to be basic for the common people
