This video brought back so many wonderful memories from my childhood! My family left Germany in 1973, but my fondest food memories are from there. I can almost smell the bakery featured in this video! I desperately miss having beautiful, fresh, warm brotchen for breakfast! My most vivid childhood memory is having breakfast in a Gasthoff in Bruningsen bei Gunne. We lived upstairs and the breakfast in the Gasthoff was incredible! I still remember the lightin the dining room, the smells from the kitchen, the texture and taste of everything. Blissful memories!

ich habe so viel über Brot gelernt! Ich hoffe das mehl kommt nicht weit weg von Berlin, weil dieser Bäckerei sieht toll aus und ich will Berlisches Brot mal probieren :p
