The reason that ssundee won at 8:02 is because at the start of the match ssundee’s shotgun bomb bullets hit more than sigils’s, so ssundee dealt more damage indicating that he would kill sigils while sigils wouldn’t

Rules:

Pawn: The pawn moves one square only forward, but captures diagonally. Therefore, if a piece fronts it, it is trapped. On its first move, it can move 2 squares, but only on its first move. There is a special move the pawn can do: En Passant. When a pawn moves 2 and lands beside an opposing pawn, it can capture diagonally as if the pawn had only moved 1.

Knight: The knight isn’t special. It can only move in an L shape (2 forward, 1 to the side in any direction). It is pretty powerful, though. The tactic is the fork. Because no piece other than the knight can move in an L, you can fork 2 pieces, as in multiple L shapes away from the knight, there are opposing pieces. It is the only piece that can jump over pieces.

Rook: The rook moves in straight lines. Laterally and long. Nothing special.

Bishop: The bishop moves diagonally. That’s it.

Queen: The Queen is the rook and bishop combined. It can move in straight lines and diagonals.

King: The king is VERY special. It has a special move called castling. Castling can happen queenside or kingside (the side the queen starts on or the side the king starts on). It is when the king moves 2 squares toward an undeveloped rook and the rook goes to the other side of the king. However, it can only happen once and it has to be the first move of both pieces. It is the only time the king moves 2, the only time the rook jumps over another piece, and the only time 2 pieces move in one move. But, it’s the weakest piece in the game. It can only naturally move 1 square. It cannot capture defended pieces for it cannot move into check, cannot castle through check, cannot castle out of check, and cannot castle into check. Once it has nowhere else to go, the game is over and the game ends in checkmate. However, there is a draw mechanic, where if the king has nowhere to go, is not in check, but any move will put it in check while the king cannot move into check, it is a draw called Stalemate.

Repetition: A draw called 3-fold repetition happens when a position is repeated 3 times. If this happens, it is a draw.

50-Move Rule: This rule states that the game is a draw if each player has done 50 consecutive moves without moving pawns or without any captures.

Resignation: Your opponent wins if you resign, give up a game. It can happen at any time, no matter what.
