I love hot air balloons! Hot air balloons are my favorite aircraft! They are so beautiful and colorful! I helped inflate a hot air balloon one time, and it was so much fun!

I’ve been a huge hot air balloon enthousiast since childhood, took pictures of a lot of them and went to meetings many times.
When I was 12 I was gifted a ride with one and it was the most unforgetable experience, i was allowed to stand next to the pilot and opened the parachute vent to pull the balloon down after landing. I wish i had taken different choices in life so i’d have been a pilot myself.

I just got done watching a festival in Italy, and I have a question, why isn't there tanks on the ventilation fans when inflating the envelope? This way, gas can be saved from the tanks in the basket and inflation can be much faster. I can't wait to take my wife in a hot air balloon. Thanks!
