So true on irrational ethics. If I go to a grocery store and they undercharge me by accident I always go back and pay fair share even if the grocery shop itself is a rip off (as it usually is lol. I'm British Indian and Indian grocery storekeepers tend to rip off a lot lol)

And I do that because I feel bad not paying full for things. Have always thought this way

I get what he saying but that is reverse psychology view point. If someone repeating what they are all you have to do is pay attention to their actions and see if it's aligning to what they keep telling you.

This whole schtick with waiters being a protected species like pandas is really getting out of hand. Sure, you shouldn't be a dick to someone because they are currently serving you. But, sometimes waiters act like dicks first, since they are humans after all.
