I’m from western NC- specifically one of the small towns around Asheville. A disturbing number of people I know are suddenly homeless, have lost their crops, their animals… and here’s the thing. FEMA didn’t show up for DAYS after the storm hit, and even that I have to take on faith that they’re actually here because I still haven’t seen a single FEMA representative. Red Cross either. What I have seen? EVERY CHURCH WITHIN A HUNDRED MILES.

If anyone is looking to donate- here are a few that I’ve seen people from repeatedly: Brookstone Baptist, Biltmore Baptist, Hominy Baptist, New Life Asheville, and even the Mormons have been a huge help - church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Weaverville. I’m pretty sure all of these churches accept donations online. A few of them were hit themselves and outs members have been left homeless- and STILL they’re out helping us.

My workplace has a DEI policy now. The work has suffered, the cooperative nature is gone, there are culture clashes, language barriers, it is generally depressing.

That's so messed up. A vote for Kamala is a vote against Native born Americans.
