After Converting the big rock to 4S it destroyed the spur gear, so I upgraded it to the steel one and shouldn’t have that problem anymore

If you would like a sticker or T-shirt here is the link.

Have you seen a video from rich duberbash, he slotted the frame under the spur. Let's all the metal dust and dirt out and nothing gets in! Saves motor and clutch bearings. Have had mine done for 2 months now. Works great!

I just took mine apart because I noticed that my mesh plate was bent . I didn't have an upgraded one on hand so I flattened it back out . I know it will cause the spur gear to get torn up if it gets to bent so I have one on order along with an upgraded metal spur gear and will be redoing the whole thing when they get here so I appreciate the video man !!! Thanks ! P.S. Baby wipes work really well for cleaning out all the grime that gets under that stuff !

I had a bad frontal impact on mine that sent a shock down the driveshaft and transferred to the gear mesh adjustment plate(motor mount plate), bent it. Heard binding when running, kept running it to see if it sorted out and it shredded the spur gear, so guess I need to replace the adjustment plate and spur gear. Ooof. At this point just buying 4 standard composite spur gears and 1 metal one so I've got replacements on hand.

I just fixed my stripped ⚙️. I was taken it apart and I thought to myself. What if I get a razor blade and clean up the stripped ⚙️ it is plastic...and what do you know 🤗 its of course you must adjust the mesh.... hopefully it last till my new metal one

Thanks for the information! I'm gonna be running mine on 4S as well so it's good to know how to install the steel spur.

What happened if it doesn't stop when you are tighting the screw?:how do you fix it?

I crank the slipper till it stops then snug it a little more. I’m not a big slipper clutch fan. But your way would be the correct way. That’s why I don’t make videos lol ANOTHER AWESOME VIDEO!!!!

I'll just buy the hold gear assembly you were working on with the gear already attached

Did notice you didn't add a second slipper plate to the front side, heard it rubs in the case if you don't

Hey curious brother after upgrading did you happen to notice anything else faltering because of that upgrade? I heard people say those little plastic bushing that comes off the slipper clutch tends to melt with the metal gear. My spur gear is coming tomorrow and my big rocks hitting the shop for a few more upgrades but while shes open im curious if i should make more upgrades. Thanks!
