How to set PERFECT spur and pinion mesh on Arrma Big Rock 3S

One of the first things you should do with a new Arrma 3-4S car is to take out the motor and fix the spur/pinion mesh to avoid expensive fixing bills later.

I just spent over an hour to try and line up splines to get motor back in! Finally did it using your technique. I also found that lifting the motor up slightly helps line up the splines.

I just recently got a Vendetta slider off eBay since it shares the same motor mount and chassis as the big rock you showed i now know how to properly set the mesh on a 3s or 4s BLX Arrma . It was tricky at first but hopefully moving forward i will get better at it. Thanks for the informative video.

I feel like the driveshaft pushed back against the spur gear and pushed it back against the motor houseing and rubs against the spur gear and I can smell like hot burnt plastic or is that normal
