not working for me either. actual assets not being seen in editor, tho they are in the folder (win explorer)

Doesn't work for me, .uasset files do not load, restarting unreal engine doesn't help. What do I do now?

Copying files like that doesnt work at all
Unreal doesnt see it even tho its in the folder

Happy to have you as a resource and everything, but it would be nicer if we could get a full length tutorial on more specific subjects like you used to - e.g. making a jumpscare.

In every tutorial there are these bits scattered around describing a tip that have a large use globally as well as in the covered topic. (E.g. "This is a high quality 3D model that I'm using, so I recommend ticking 'Build Nanite' when importing the model") or something. I love full size tutorials for that reason (especially yours). Keep up the good work, hoping for some more full size tutorials soon.

Didn't work for me. Files show up in explorer but not the content browser in the editor.

Copy and Paste, I've been doing that for my third player cat and first person Bread Pirate.
the only real changes are if it's cast to a character, then it works.

I was wondering the video you did once, it was saving resource data, you had a landscape, with trees and when you moved far away the trees would disappear and when you moved close the trees would appear on the landscape, it was used to prevent the game slowing down.
I forgot the name of the video and I can't find it, I can't remember if it was an early video?

Hey hope all is well. So I am having an issue where I have assets on UE5.1 but want to migrate to a project to UE5.0 for some reason I have followed these steps and also tried others ways but the UE5.0 project wont read the assets that are in UE5.1. I even tried dragging the uasset from UE5.1 to UE5.0 and it says unrecognized uasset. Can you help with this please

I have this problem. After moving all the content to the folder, everything appears inside Unreal Engine. But the mesh in completely grey, without materials, even though the preview image shows it. Can you please help all of us that have the same issue?

Hi there, i have a question..
after export some materials somewhere on my PC outside of UE5 i got 6 files 4x different png files 1x gltf file and 1x ISO (.bin) file
i would like to know what these files are and how to use them propertly coz when i import them in new project its no more one file but like mention above..
what im trying to achive?? im trying to get some collection in one place instead migrating stuff from one project to another..
Or even better it would be nice when i open new project and in material editor (i.e.) to have access to all of then by drop down menu not only from project templates.
thx for any help..
