My favourite part of Shadow's Ultimate Sacrifice is the genuine amount of respect and understanding Sonic shows for him in the aftermath, especially when Sonic is the last to leave Ark saying "Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog." It gets me every time.

Personally one of my favorite moments was from Sonic Adventure 2. After hearing that Rouge is trapped and in danger, something cracks inside him as he remembers Maria, and speeds through White Jungle to save Rouge before the island explodes. I loved that moment because it shows that Shadow had a heart of gold deep down.

I loved that scene in Shadow the Hedgehog where everyone tried to make Shadow feel guilty for his mistakes, and Sonic showed up and said "Don't let the hedgehog's mistakes overshadow the hedgehog's accomplishments."
