I haven't tried Walmart pickup yet! I will have to do that soon bc it's so much easier than going in-store! Love that you can get text alerts when your packages are ready :) So nice that you can tell the app what type of car you drive and where you parked, so they immediately know where to find you! Love that it tells you they're coming out shortly too, and you can have your trunk open :)

Helpful, but it's often not this quick and easy. Even when checking in before leaving, and then providing the car lane #, it can still take them 15-20 minutes on a slow day.

Thanks for the video helped a lot. Don’t shop at Walmart much but they had something’s my mom needed. Honestly where I live Walmart curbside has More steps and the gps tracking seams over the top. Not easy as HEB.. Walmarts competition where I live in S. Tx… you just reserve a date and time for pickup when you checkout . Everything is text base on phone.Arrive and send text of parking space # they come out and load up. No app required or being tracked on gps.

Thanks for the clear explanation. I am scheduled to pick up in an hour so I was not sure on the process, but now I will look like a pro. Question: Do you tip the grocery carrier?

The service is ok, but some associates will claim that the product is out of stock and will either substitute or refund item, when I pick up my order every time with out failure I will go into store and using the Walmart app and I will find the so called out of stock items, other than those occasions it’s a great service and convenient

There is no check in button in my email or on the app. I also tried calling the phone number in the parking spot and it said the mailbox is full and hung up on me.

If you are having the item picked up by someone other than yourself, is there any special instructions. Obviously they won't be able to track the pickup individual via GPS if they aren't you, plus I still don't know how to get this reserved parking space for my pickup person? How does it work when you add an alternative person to pick up your order. I live in another state so fastest way for them to get their item was doing this method. I added them as an alternative person for pick up, but now I'm not so sure if Walmart sends them the same information or if I will have to do all this for them through my phone?

I placed an order for pickup, for my dad who is in another state.. Im sure now from watching this that I can check in when it comes time soon, but what about the gps part? If I’m not driving with him to pick it up.. can I just hit ive parked when he’s there?
