Love how easy the Walmart app is to use and how helpful this video was to be able to save even more money with the Walmart app and prices in stores

Kayla thank you so much for making this video it is extremely helpful I never new that you could see the clearance prices of items in the store you’re shopping at to make sure you’re getting the lowest price for items. This is such a wonderful and helpful video you explained everything incredibly especially with advice on making sure the app is showing the correct mode and if it isn’t things to try to get it to show the correct mode

Thanks, I learned something new. I almost always see the "store price unavailable" message whenever I go to Walmart and I never knew I could switch to "scan & go" to view the price!

Do you gotta be a member+ to scan and check the price of item the app doesn't show nothing when I'm trying to scan the items to see how much they cost 😊

Good video, thanks. I scan EVERYTHING before it goes in my shopping cart. Don’t be lazy and stop nitpicking. ( she did in fact, uncover some hidden clearance prices). I have found many great deals this way. On the very rare occasion where a price is not available, I go to customer service and they have always match the online price. I have seen elsewhere online that the last digit on the price tag indicates the number of times an item has been marked down. Something marked $3.84 has been marked down more frequently than something mark $4.07. I have found this to be mostly true, but I’ve only been able to verify it a couple of times.

So how do you know what’s on sale? And what you should be scanning such as the book.. how did you know to scan that

Thanks girl! I subbed. I must have had my location off when that happened to me but often they will price match to the online price. For example the other day I found some infant boots that were on clearance for $6.50 online and in store they were $9 but even at the self checkout an associate was able to match the price without having to call a manager for approval.

So im not understanding how you know that the item is 90% off if it says 75% off? I mean as you say we may not have the same hidden sales in our stores as you do, so how do we find hidden sales? Do we have to scan everything to find them ir is there an easier way? How did you find out?

So, I followed the link because the title that showed up in the search results said, "How to Use the Walmart App to Find of Hidden Clearance." Misleading at best as, it didn't AT ALL show anyone how to find a "hidden clearance" item but, only how to find the price - if it should just maybe happen to be different from the yellow sticker price indicated. I came here with the expectation that I'd find out how to use the app to find discounted items in a store, as the title suggests - since most stores have a clearance isle (as we all know) but, also clearance items in various departments as well; (e.g., I found a suitcase at 49% off on the luggage shelf.)
I thumbed the video down

With all due respect I watched this about a month ago and did it. I have seen many videos on Youtube that say the same things. This may work for you. I live in Little Rock Ar. and over the past few weeks and every time I thought I had a deal it would say online. And even then when I looked online they were always sold out.

Problem #1. The scanner on the app is useless. Why does Walmart include online prices when you are scanner in store items? I can't tell you how many times I had to send items back because after doing the checkout scanner the price wasn't right. All the manager told me was to check the pricing because those are online prices and don't match them. My question for Walmart is why not if it is coming directly from you when mailed? And why have a scanner if the price is going to be wrong or can be wrong? That's the most ridiculous thing I have heard. There were several times the scanner had the regular price and not even the clearance price. I even did the Walmart as well.

I questioned rather your video was bogus or not but I didn't say anything. You stated several times before scanning those items that you knew that the price was wrong. How so? The item said 75% off but you stated that it was 90% off. How did you know that???

But the walmart app, set to my store, and set to "in-store" is only giving me online prices! This is exhausting. How do you get the in-store price? I scan, in-store, and it still gives online prices. I wish walmart could fix this.

My husband wanted a StarWars toy(ship) . I scanned it it was $25
Went we scanned it to pay it said $45.
I asked a Walmart to employee if they can price match she said No
But just to make sure she asked another employee. Well that employee said yes we can!!!
The first employee said “ oh didn’t they tell us we can’t anymore “
Did they change the policy???
