Tried everything, it's still not working. This is so frustrating. My camera used to work just fine, and now whatever I seem to try, the screen is just all black whenever I open the camera app... and no F8 is also not working. I f*cking hate windows

Guys if it didn't work after doing all n its ur new laptop means, , uninstall the mcfee antivirus.. It worked for me

Another method 2024: If you still have a problem, try physically revealing it in front of the camera. There is a zipper.

I resolved the problem!
I went into the "Device Manager". Under "Cameras" I right-clicked on my camera and went into "Properties". Then I went in to "Driver" and pressed "Roll Back Driver".
