Omg, thank you so much!! I thought the camera itself was the problem, so I swapped the old for a new one. Unfortunately, the problem was solved only temporarily and after a short while it stopped working again. I was contemplating the idea of buying a new phone even though everything except the camera was working absolutely fine. I'm sooo happy that, thanks to your video, I now can keep on using my old phone!
(I couldn't fine the "uninstall updates" button, so I simply cleared the storage and cache before and after restarting my phone)

i got mine as a brand new one but as opening the camera it turns black screen and cannot click the other options. i tries deleting the cache and storage and is still the same. somebody help me huhuhu

I've got a old Huawei p9 phone, I can't open camera, I can't go into photos or videos or music, I have to download a 3 party gallery and camera

The only way I found to use my camera is to go into setting, n open camera app, storage n delete your data. Your phone will work but you may have to do this everytime you want to use your phone. And no, you will not lose your photos.
