I have a carry permit and I live in a state that does not require disclosure. In fact they just passed a law that makes "constitutional carry" by everyone legal. I will never tell a cop that I am carrying. I don't answer questions because I exercise my 5th Amendment rights.

One time I had a concealed carry card (I am a good citizen TAX CARD). I provided the card with the drivers license (driving tax card) and the police officer drew down on me. ABSOLUTELY NO PROVOCATION! Do not talk to police!

Thank GOD we have constitutional carry in AZ and no requirement to notify the officer/s if stopped, though the one time I was stopped for broken tail lights I did inform and we spent 15 minutes talking guns while he admired my 1911.

If your state law does not require disclosure, like any other stop: be cool, be polite, give only required docs, keep hands visible, keep your mouth shut, say only yes sir/no sir.
