What's interesting to note is that this case implies that Jonah Magnus only found out that the Entities feed on fear almost 30 years _after_ the Magnus Institute was founded. In TMA, this information was imparted onto him prior to the Institute's founding by Robert Smirke who learned of the powers from Maxwell Rayner. The existence of the Royal Mint Court means that Smirke likely does _exist_ in this universe, but his relation to either the Entities or his fellow London scholars is somehow markedly different.
