MOTHER 3: Tribute

We're celebrating our channel's 7th anniversary with a tribute to Mother 3, the Japan-only sequel to the cult classic Earthbound. (Fans of this series might want to record their reaction to this one. 👀)

This video represents over 2 years of work on a scale many times larger than anything we've attempted in the past. It is quite possibly the largest fan production we will ever produce.

It makes me incredibly happy that all of you respected the idea Itoi had for a 3D Mother, a clay-like look, I really love all the work was put into this, I don't know how Nintendo works, but all I can hope is for Itoi to watch this and, maybe, show it to nintendo for a remake.

So you know how people tend to throw around "Nintendo, hire this man" for fan projects? This is the only time I have felt that Nintendo NEEDS to HIRE THESE PEOPLE! I once had a dream about Earthbound remade in this style, and watching this was like that dream came true. Thank you for showing this game more love than Nintendo has!

That was absolutely incredible! This could've been a trailer for a Mother 3 Remake! Dang wish it was real! I love the mixed framerates of the character animations + the 60 FPS "gameplay"! Makes it feel really authentic!

Imagine an HD trilogy looking like this... Mother is a rare case of a truly completed series, but I'd love to see a project like this while Itoi is around to consult on the look and feel of updated visuals.
