Hey Ashley, Mpumalanga is actually a province whose capital is Nelspruit. Even Middleburg is in Mpumalanga.

Mpumalanga is one of the most beautiful provinces in SA, It has amazing landscapes, greenery, mountains, waterfalls, the 3rd largest canyon in the world (Blyde Canyon)

We have natural pools, along the panorama route u see many places like Graskop lift gorge, you can visit many waterfalls, Potholes, God’s window, we have caves, Pilgrims rest u have a historic gold little town where they show u how gold was mined.

The biggest nature reserve Kruger National park that borders Limpopo and Mozambique you can spend days driving inside the national park, u have campsites, lodges, hotels all 5star with amazing game drives to place u directly in the heart of where the animals are doing their business.


Mpumalanga has a lot to offer, we just do t have the ocean😢but it’s a very blessed province, slow paced, safe and calm, lot of business opportunities also in the tourism space the list is endless

If you found Mpumalanga it's like God was on some amazing holy high and designed that province. It's indescribable. I find peace in that province like Eastern Cape like the Drakenebrgs and Limpopo.

I was blessed with the opportunity to take a road trip to Kruger on my first trip to SA. It just added to the splendor of what experienced in Gauteng. I love that petroport with the rhino watering hole. There are too name experiences to be found in Mpumalanga. Scenic drives everywhere. Hazyview. God’s Window. Big Swing. Kruger National Park (big as New Jersey). The list goes on.

Visit Eswatini, Botswana and Lesotho... you'll realize how big south africa is. Those countries give a feeling that you are in another province.

Just 5hr drive outside Johannesburg, some of us do it 3hrs 30 minutes.

I was born in this province "Nelspruit/Mbombela" Moved to Johannesburg in 2010 for Varsity and have been there since because of work.

I'm home now for holidays and Love it here. I like the part where you say you could stay in Mpumalanga.
