My dad is from South Sudan the Nuer tribe, he is a lost boy. He walked 6 months to Uganda, just to escape the war, he left his family at the age of 14 and joined the army at 15, spent some years in Ethiopia and Uganda before coming to the US in 2001 at 18. He wants to go back though, even though its still dangerous. He misses his home

I've spent a whole year in Wau, South Sudan and it was the most exciting, beautiful, challenging and life changing experience in my life.
