So my theory is that Vegas fell due to a drought, evidence by the look of lake mead being dried up. Causing deathclaws to attack the city. And I think tbh we won’t get a canonical ending it will be left up in the air be use no matter what happens Vegas, like a game giving you a choice but no matter what it’s always the same wnding

Presumably since he knew Robert House as a person and not as a computer he might have known what projects he was up to.

I cant imagine a better place to hide than a walled off city with (relatively) clean water and an army of securitrons

It’s 100% going to be based around House. Coop says in the end that he’s going to find “who’s in control of the chaos” and, as house is probably one of if not the only living member of the board that we see with all of the other tech companies (other than BigMT, which I can definitely see being incorporated as it is obviously linked to NV thru old world blues) that is almost definitely the biggest remaining link to both power as a whole AND wherever Coops family is.

My guess? The NCR thought House (or whoever was in charge in New Vegas) was responsible for the nuke that destroyed Shady Sands and attacked The Strip.

I hope that in seasons two we can see what the full NCR is. Rangers, heavy troopers, etc

I kinda hope they stuck with ulysses saying that tunnelers will starr burrowing into nevada killing everything. And new vegas caught by suprise or even with couriers warning still fell.

I love the idea of the red mist from the Sierra Madre making it’s way to new Vegas and making it almost uninhabitable, wiping out everyone regardless of which side won.

my line of thought for 3 possible Ideas: NCR attacked New Vegas in retaliation due to the Courier siding with House and destroyed Shady Sands with the Nukes of the Divide (which makes the least sense because House saw a great source of Money in the NCR),
there was a massive war between NCR and Caesars Legion IN New Vegas because of (for example) Ulysseus launched the Nukes of the Divide towards Shady Sands or something like that,
or Yes-Man went on a rampage after getting his final Upgrade after the Yes-Man Ending (which would be VERY interesting to imagine, Yes-Man as the new Main Antagonist, that would be creepy, i always thought about something evil behind that smile)

one thing is sure, we will get a canon ending for New Vegas

There is vault 21 on the strip and vault 3 was supposed to be a control vault and several other vaults are scattered around the mojave
