store A is 140$ after the 40% raise, and store B is 250$ after the 250% raise. the 60% of 250$ is 150$, so 140$<150$.. the answer should be (store A sells their bycycles cheaper than store B)

im not trying to insult your intelligence when i write this but on your second example, the employee with a 12% pay-rise, you go through an absolute load of work to get there, i simply do : (0.12 x 9.50) + 9.50 ... the method that you present leaves a lot of room for error... on the other hand thanks for the video it helped me grasp the idea of inverse percentages.
