Infinity Mammoth HVAC - Capacitor replacement

Just an end to end video on how I fixed my HVAC unit for 40 bucks.

The short of it is that one day the fan started but the compressor did not and just buzzed occasionally. After 10 years many of the HVAC failures here are going to be capacitor related, and it's nice to replace them with american made Amrad capacitors and save a bit of money at the same time. Replacing the capacitors did fix the problem.

Water sourced heat pump on your air handler there is a filter without supply return grill. The air handlers in a closet not unusual but on top of the air handler I saw a large run of flex duct guess size from the looks of it the duct size is 14 inch. My concern is the air handler doesn’t have enough air supply /returning back to the unit it could cause problems with the unit delivering the proper CFM the designed to put out. Just like if there not enough movement or no movement of across the evaporator coil will cause it to freeze up. If you have a filter at the unit and another return else we’re in the dwelling it could cause a restriction and decrease a flow back to the air handler.
