cat 6 - used for business
All I have in my house is cat 6

cat 6 - more expensive
You can get a 50ft roll of cat 6 cable on amazon for 10 bucks; I once went in to office depot (they offer price match) walked in, grabbed 3 50ft cat 6 cables for 60 dollars a pop, showed them amazon's price and walked out that store with those cables for 28 dollars, not 180.

I found a huge bag of Cat 5 cabling at a Goodwill once, so I'm actually using a ton of standard Cat 5, but as my internet is only 15mbps it fully functions
