I have a crazy theory that you could do a video on. Kyoshi's daughter Koko is the same Koko in ATLA but she used the Immortality technique and she kept using it to stay a child!!!

I mean if my loved ones were all gone and I knew as an avatar that I will retain my individual spirit forever I might be like “aight I’m out” too lol. I think she probably also factored in that, to live forever would be tantamount to breaking the cycle by never passing on the spirit of rava to the next avatar. I know that’s not specifically written but Kyoshi was perhaps the most pragmatic avatar ever. so it seems to me she would have realized that her never dying would lead to issues with the way the avatar cycle is supposed to equally represent all four elements and their respective cultures. By the way, who else didn’t like the angry version of kyoshi we got in the Netflix series? I thought it went against her calm collected nature from the original.

I think that the necessity of the continuation of the Avatar cycle to maintain the balance of the world was another factor.

I believe she did so because she realized how unbalanced it is to live forever. Life has no meaning if it has no end.

The immortality meditation does not work. I've been trying for around 300 years now and still I get wrinkly.

In the new novel, The Reckoning of Roku, it's implied how Kyoshi dies. Her last airbending companion Disha and Roku's instructor who told all this to him, saw how she dealt with a criminal, who became note-worthy of the Avatar's attention due to wanting her death. Because she killed this man's father. After this incident, she told Kyoshi that many of the world's new problems are only because of her tendency to kill. To this she abrasively responded in Disha's face. Disha confided in her fellow monks and after that, no airbender would ever aid Kyoshi again. Disha left her 2 years before Kyoshi's death. Perhaps, she eventually realised her errors and saw that she accomplished as much as she can in her time and that the world needs something new and let go of what Lao Ge taught her. I hold claim over none of what I've written.

According to some actual monks and eastern shamans through meditation they claim some of their order are hundreds of years old.

People that live in Okinawa
Tend to live longer . Hakka Chinese as well and indigenous people (native Indians) live longer . If your Jamaican and mixed with all those like I am indigenous (native indian) French Canadian and Italian and German and Jew and Lebanese and south China Hakka, I will tend to live longer . My great grandmother’a mom was 100 years old and lived long and in my family and dna ancestory, we have very good roots .I was born after my elder brother in year 1995 January 18th and I’m now 28 and ok be 30 years old in 2 years and I don’t have gray hair I’m 4ft short and I look and sound like I’m 9 and 10 and dumb strangers mistake me still I’m little or a little kid because I look young like I look like I stepped out of the fountain of youth for real more than how you see others look and my elder brother got gray hair sence he was very young like he was born a old man 👴.he’s already in is 30s . Places like in America where I was born but my mom is from Jamaica, people in America really don’t even try to take care of them selfs . Too much junk food and gain so much wait and they do dumb stuff to be unhealthy. They don’t even watch how they drink and they never stoped smocking because they think it’s cool . When Covid started it’s there fuilt why they die because they don’t get at least shot number 1 or 2 and they don’t wear mask not Even properly over the nose because it’s always under or off there face and they don’t stay away distance from people. That’s also how they don’t have good roots and not live long and they don’t want to feel safe or ok .

I’m not surprised that the earth benders ands munks that’s air benders and katara and her brother that’s indigenous Inuits survive and live longer . 1:12
