BBQ Smoked 3 2 1 Ribs | Pit Boss Pellet Smoker

Perhaps one if not THE most popular method to BBQ pork Ribs is the 3-2-1 Method.

I go in depth on how to get some excellent, juicy and sweet results. Knowing how to BBQ ribs can be a huge savior for big events. The 3-2-1 method is an excellent way to get some amazing results!
Here are the steps...

Set the Pit Boss Pellet Grill to 225
Coat the ribs with Mustard
Add your favorite Rib-Friendly seasoning
Set the Ribs on the Smoker
Let the Ribs smoke for 3 hours
Slather some Mop on the ribs
Let the ribs cook for 2 more hours wrapped in sauce
Remove the foil, then let the Ribs smoke for 1 more hour.

Expect to be BLOWN away :)

Came out fantastic! Did 3 full racks all with different rubs. Bones just slid out of the meat. 6 hours well spent! Beers, some blues music and the smell of the smoke sneaking out of the smoker…. Perfect day spent!

When you wrap them you should put the meat side down with some apple juice in the foil. Also add honey when adding brown sugar and butter.

You mentioned that “three racks are baby back and the other is St. Louis style, whatever that means”. The baby backs are from the loin . St. Louis style are what is commonly called the spare rib. The way you trim it makes it St. Louis style. They actually have more meat than the baby backs do.

Great video. I did the broen sugar and butter. But I added Jim Beam apple bourbon to it also. The flavor popped.

I do something very similar, but I add a Hispanic flair to it. I marinate the ribs in a mixture of mojo and bitter orange marinade overnight. And I use bbq sauce butter and pineapple juice in the foil. Comes out great.

Um I think you should've put meat side down when wrapped with foil to soak more of the juices into the meat. But they look amazing!
