Roof Top Tents Shouldn't be the most expensive thing you put on your truck. The Topoak Galaxy surprised me a year ago with a great value tent in the Galaxy 1.0... well here we are less then a year later and they have listened to our feedback and came back with an even better value tent with your most requested upgrades. This video introduces the 2.0 Version of the Galaxy, That Topoak has now named the Stellar... check it out.

I bought the Galaxy 1.0 after much debate but I pull the trigger on it after your video about a year ago. I’ve been very happy with it. It’s my first RTT and a great budget friendly option. Thanks for the great videos! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Just got mine yesterday with the new improvements made after the first batch of 60 already shipped out. So far I’m impressed but it’s midnight and I haven’t had a chance to crawl around inside it yet.

You're so right on the screen being outside the door. No tent I've ever had has been made that way. I say, think about your home. Does your screen door go inside your front door or sliding back door?

I like the awnings on the sides. That way you can still camp with the doors zipped down during inclement weather. Down here in the southeast, it gets hot and muggy. Being able to leave the doors open and still have rain protection would be great way for staying cooler than not having any ventilation while it’s raining.

After getting a hard shell tent myself, I have had half dozen people wanting to see it in action in the first month of owning it. Mine being a bit bigger than most “Skycamp” but for those who don’t have kids or smaller families this would be perfect! and the price is a great value! I checked their website site out to pass on info on the Topoak tent. A tent with all of its features plus capable add ons for $1499 and $499 for shipping to Canada still beats the rest in this category. I tried your discount code to get a final price of $1848 US. Topoak’s next decision is to find a Canadian distributor? Thanks for the info! I like the cameo on the back of your rig.

I still haven't found a pop out clam shell tent better than the FSR Aspen Lite series. It's a few bucks more than the Topoak. But it's better in just about every way. Extremely lightweight, that doesn't rob your payload like the Topoak and many others do. High quality construction. Hands down, the very best mattress of ANY RTT. All the features you can ask for. Diesel heater/AC/electric ports, insulated, the list goes on.

Have you thought about doing a review of the Topoak Vision?

Excellent review of this RTT and playing Devil’s advocate. I was teetering between different mid-ranged tents and I think you have me finally sold on this one. All those other expensive RTTs out there can flash their brand and price tag on vehicles but it’s all about usability, quality finish, practicality combined with the bottom line $$$. I think this has it all for those who are ok not branding a status symbol. I think people should shop wisely according to their needs and how often they use their tents. Is it two seasons a year with a few weekends each or much more than that. Thanks for your comparison as well to the 1.0 and all the upgrades included to show how the 2.0 is better.

My biggest complian is width of this type of tent all about 52 inch. Roofnest has XL ver that is 57 in. More space in hot weather with your traveler is important I think .

Now all they need to do is make this RTT have a flap that integrates with the awning so you can climb up from a protected area into a dry tent! Make it zipable or snap so you can use it or not. Be an amazing option to add!!!

Went camping about 5-6 weeks ago with leftover 4 in of snow on the ground, not expecting the trmps to dive down to 5°F in the night 😅 Gazelle T3 went well 🇨🇦

Great video as always bro. The 2.0 will be my 1st rooftop tent.

After watching a few recent 1.0 reviews, it appears a lot of these changes they made carried over to the newer 1.0s. I.e, cross bar clips instead of Velcro, condensation vents up top, etc

Add paracord to the upper support bars so you can pull them from the back.
