When I was 19 I roofed and my foreman was standing on the edge close to the gutter when a blue jay flew into him, he flailed his arms at the bird causing him to lose balance. He fell 22' and broke his back. He is still a roofer to this day but has his own company now, it's Flying J's Roof & Repair.
