Hey guys, today’s video I’m going to be sharing with you how you can shop your closet and make new outfits from the clothes you already have. I’ll be sharing a little exercise you can do with your own closet and the clothes that you already have to try and get creative again and come up with new ways to wear things. I will also be sharing a few fashion tips and styling advice for making new outfits and trying to think outside the box a little bit with your wardrobe. I hope you enjoy this video and it gives you some insight on how you can make the most of your capsule closet.

I am 43 so I do it without the cell phone. I just lay down on my bed and imagine different outfits. Sometimes I get up to see if they will actually match if l’m not sure. Sometimes I fall asleep.😂😂😂😂😂

I would absolutely recommend trying your outfits on before you take a picture of them. Sometimes its hard to now whether the clothes will fit together when wearing them. :)

I lay out my clothes for each day when I travel. Layering is the key. I could be going to a party one day and sitting in the car for hrs the next day. I make sure I pick similar colors so I can mix and match my accessories and shoes so save space in my travel bag.

Great tips! I especially liked the first tip. What has stopped me trying different outfits is not wanting to try them all on. But laying them out is a great idea.

Good idea. I think I would do all tops at once, while the bottoms are all out, then do all bottoms with all the tops laid out, and a separate round for dresses. If there’s time, I would try each outfit on to make sure it really does work well.🙂

I think this is a good idea especially for people who work in office and have to have their work clothes picked out for the week I can just take pictures of all the work clothes I put together and go from there makes it easier to get dressed in the morning

For the first tip, I do it all on my phone with Smart Closet. It saves a lot of time and when I get bored, I just mix stuff up on there. It also allows you log outfits on your calendar so you know if you're repeating stuff :)

I tried using one of those apps that let you make outfits. It's easier than doing the outfit lay out session you mentioned in the long run. The app helps me think outside the box. Plus I can just be in bed and not make a complete mess of my room and closet lol 😂. ( I don't enjoy trying on clothes. I'm so glad when YouTubers do the work and record their outfit combinations! ) The negative is that you have to photograph your items if you use the app. For trips I take pics of outfits I try on but I have to physically try on the combinations. Some things work in theory lying on the bed, but don't work on my body. Great tips! TFS 😊

Great video! I do advice#1 when I purchase an new item. I have a small wardrobe so I try to make sure the new addition can mix and match with other clothing.
