Yes!! I have been really trying to shop my closet more. I usually wear the same outfits but never consider how the pieces can be worn in other ways. I am really challenging myself to wear my clothes in different combos and Pinterest has been great for the inspiration

Thank you 🙏🏼 this was super helpful . I never wear light coloured trousers but I found some beige River Island trousers in a charity shop for £4 . I paired them with a white t shirt ( haven’t got a white vest top … yet) and a belt similar to the one in the video (50p from a chart shop a while ago) and some strappy low heeled Mary Jane shoes in gold which I’ve had for 10 years! It’s a great outfit . I’m wearing it with a contrasting jacket for a works do . Thanks again for the inspiration x

Super helpful episode. I love how you talk through your process for pulling out the essential elements of each look, which makes it easier to zero in on the pieces from your wardrobe that could create a similar look. The printed fabric in the short sleeved button-up in outfit #4 reminds me of Marimekko fabrics. I don't know whether or not it's actually one of their shirt designs, it just has that vibe to me. (Side question: do you call short sleeved button-ups "t-shirts" in Canada? I think of t-shirts as pullovers.)

Your outfit #4 is my favorite. The boxy top is very flattering on you, as is the defined waist, and flowy fabrics make it look sophisticated and effortless. I think you improved on the original.

Oh boy, you described my tendency to feel the "have to buy obsession" for the exact piece, rather than shop my ample closet. You expertly snap me back to the practical reality of 'I have pieces that are almost identical dupes, " so I can skip the spend and avoid that sick feeling of blowing the budget (again).
