Launched in 2005, Casual Connect is hosted by Computer Games Association (CGA) and Greenlit Content, bringing together the most talented and knowledgeable experts in the gaming field to further the industry with the best learning and networking opportunities for gaming professionals.
CGA and Greenlit Content hosts four Casual Connect conferences every year in different regions: USA, Asia, Eastern Europe and Western Europe.

The international Indie Prize scholarship program became an integral part of Casual Connect. Being subsidised by CGA, the scholarship program provides up to 100 talented developers from all over the world with an opportunity to join the deal making event with industry leaders for free. Indie Prize finalists are selected by a group of 30-40 judges and provided with two free conference passes, free showcase spot and free accommodation during a conference in an indie hostel. Indie Prize scholarship was created and supported by industry leading companies to discover talented developers from all over the world including distant regions with upcoming bestsellers. As well as to give independent developers a chance to meet like-minded people from different countries in one place. Developers from more than 400 developer from up to 70 different countries attend Indie Prize showcase and show their games to industry professionals during a year.
