Grand Seiko Is Better Than A Rolex

One of my favorite watch brands is the Grand Seiko, which is a part of the Seiko Watch Corporation. Grand Seiko makes luxury high-end mechanical watches with precision beyond imagination. Their flagship spring drive movement has been the biggest innovation in the watch industry in decades. The level of craftsmanship, finesse, story, and accuracy is unparalleled, and that too at a price point that sets it aspirational.

In this video, we discuss the history of Grand Seiko Watches and how the spring drive movement is different from quartz and automatic watches. The watch on my wrist is the Grand Seiko SBGA465 Morning Frost which is the entry to the spring drive collection. It has a 72-hour power reserve with an indicator and a beautiful textured dial.

I don't know why but the video made me emotional. People talk about resale value but if you are emotionally attached to something you will never think of selling it.
