sudo omv-upgrade
or
sudo apt-get --with-new-pkgs upgrade
Both commands would work, omv-upgrade is the command found on omv forums.

**How to create bootable OMV6**

When you get to 0:48 of the video, you can use the default path for docker. Changing that path will only change where the docker is installed or where default volumes store their data. I realized after I uploaded the video, I should have added a comment regarding that. Might be easier for you to use the default because if you find other videos, it would be easier to follow as most people use the default path on docker install anyways. Sorry for the confusion.

Just a quick pointer, when using composerize, select v3, otherwise, it works just fine.

Howdy Rob, so your the ony cat that I could find that actually went into a bi tmore detail about setting up OMV, Docker, and portainer but now I'm running into an issue. I was able to get the file to clear and create the portainer but when I attempt to access portainer by IP address, its not resolving nor is it obtaining an IP Address. When I check it, its 0.0.0.0. What would you think that could be?

I like the way that OMV have started to look at building docker into the 'OS' of the system, but the way its put together at the moment is janky as heck ... cos there are 2 different ways to do it ... I hope it improves as it means looking after storage, connecting storage across networks will be easier in the end with better connections and less lost data

Can you show how to add plex from here and get it to use a shared folder with the media files?

You couldn't do a video on how to install plex in Docker could you on OMV?

it might be useful to add, if one is migrating from the previous docker setup, is that you can create a new docker folder/path and you can run your old docker install from the previous installation folder/path. This is useful for testing the new paths, containers etc... Also, you can backup the old portainer login. You need to create a backup rar file 'with password' otherwise restore wont work.

Really nice video: unfortunately I am getting this error, when I try to pull the unifi controller:
" The requested image's platform (linux/arm64) does not match the detected host platform (linux/arm/v8) and no specific platform was requested "

i keep on running into an error 500 when i try tosave the changes in the compose settings. Any reason why that could be? ive tried everything i could and cant seem to get it to work. Any help is appreciated

Could you explain why you created a new docker folder and not just use the one located at /var/lib/docker?

I followed this exactly but upto 0:48 when you add the absolute path, (mine is a /mergerfs/pool/ kind) it kept throwing error 500 when I went to apply but it would accept the compose file on top and leave the rest default. Will this work right or why would it reject the absolute path that I copied?
