It's simple yet beautiful! It's such a shame Legend of Korra doesn't touch upon what their relationship looked like and how it unfolded, instead leaving Aang, the MAIN CHARACTER, to die off screen and be relegated to a cameo appearance like Roku was in the original series. Sokka, the other deuteragonist alongside Katara, on the other hand was completely forgotten and had a total number of voice lines countable on hand. I just hope in the future we get an installment that details what life was like immediately following Aang's defeat of Ozai at the conclusion of the original series.

My god, when he said “thank you for penguin sledding with me” and we saw the years on his face roll back to that innocent look we know and love.. I’m sitting here getting emotional, I can’t even imagine how much Katara would have cried. These two loved each other so much, and even with his final breath, Aang was trying to comfort Katara. That’s true love right there.

Toph felt that. She felt his fading breath. And when toph met Korra she said "Nice to meet you again...Twinkle toes" And in atla she said this kind of sad like "Do you really think friendships can transcend lifetimes?" And it did 💜

It's so heart touching and emotional, I can't even explain specially when aang's line "thank you for penguin sledding with me" was soo sad, how fool can the writers be that they just ignored that what happen after the series they directly went into The next Avatar Korra, not even completing the story of Aang, there should be more to Need not to say but you are really a great artist to complete his last

I generally *do not care* about what people think; I love Kataang. With that out of the way, this is a masterpiece. If I somehow had the energy to make it I would consider it a tribute. I can't describe how much I love it.


On a related note I can't imagine how sad the Gaang was.
