I’ve used miralax for months on end but my stomach lining felt as if it was on fire (I have really bad gastritis too) after swapping meds and being on Trulance for my constipation issues (wasn’t as effective as miralax) & omeprazole for my acid reflux…I decided to stop it and focus on repairing my stomach lining with natural remedies opting for supplements instead (started taking pre&probiotics, bone & barrow, bone living supplements and taking apple cider vinegar tonics morning and night) I upped my water intake and started tracking my fiber and also added a fiber booster powder …it’s definitely working I’m going 4x a week where as I was going once a week (with no meds)If fortunate enough…mood swings at its finest, tired, depressed…

I want to train my body to go on its own, and to feel great again. Miralax would be my back up but I would try everything before depending on it ever again. I was looking for a stool softener that can help on my off days but guess I’ll continue my search….

I used to take MiraLax I use it for years now I become allergic to its ingredient. So I tried everything else and nothing work but .Dulcolax but I not sure if you can use it twice a week . What do you think?

I have used it forever, I use Colace that’s the only thing that works for me. Hopefully, it doesn’t make my colon slow. I have ibs/chronic constipation it sadly runs in my family.

After a hysterectomy and your poop is coming out easily after taking Miralax for the past 4 days in a row, do I keep taking it? Or do I stop till I feel like I'm constipated? I have been taking it every morning and yesterday I went 2 or 3 times but the poop was always normal looking not diahreeha. I had my hysterectomy 5 days ago and I'm eating a lot of whole grains and fibre. So do I keep taking it? Thanks!

Miralax is not a stool softner it is an osmotic laxative. Please stop being a MD, smh
