I agree with Barbara. I believe it's better to shadow a successful person you admire from a distance, than to approach same person and ask to be mentored. In fact, I think the latter is selfish, and makes it look like you're asking someone out on a date. If at all, a mentorship relationship should be something that happens naturally as a result of your service to the mentor.

It's soo important before you make your decision, that you know how the game plays. life is a big game you have to know its rules. and to do so, you have to explore know your seniors experience and be okay to fail, dont ever fear failure. I agree with Barbara.

A good mentor is what every investor needs to move forward, You don't have to change your voice to be better but rather you just have to be you. Nothing wrong with finding a mentor. Find genuine people that are successful in the areas you want to succeed in, and model them. You still put the work in, but learn from people that have done it, and have done it successfully.
