I really like this tutorial. So simple gets to the point. Doesn’t take 1 hour just to get to 1 point. Doesn’t get so technical. Just makes them literally homemade. Doesn’t teach me like it’s a cooking show.

Homemade Potato Chips:

1. Peeling the potatoes
2. Grab Slicer and slice into thin strips
3. Get them into a bowl of water and move them around
4. Put Potato in a colander and give them a good rinse
5. Put Back into a Bowl of Cold Water and Add a couple tablespoons of salt and stir (30 min)
6. Set them on a paper towel, add another paper towel on top and get them as dry as possible
7. Put a pan filled with oil on medium heat
8. Insert the potato into the oil
9. Put all the potato in until it is golden brown
10. NOW TAKE A POTATO CHIP AND EAT IT

Have to learn this due to the coronavirus.

made these and they came out beautifully. Took a couple of tries to figure out exactly at what point to remove them from the fat, but after I had that figured out, the rest came out crispy and delicious. Even better than store bought chips. Thank you so much!

Live extra 10 years by making your own schnacks! Definitely healthy than those with preservatives and loads of additives.

I made these yesterday. Your recipe was quick and easy. It's the first time I've been able to get a truly crispy homemade potato chip. Thank you for the video.

I do these a lot but I salt them just as they come out of the oil. I have also found that a woc is the best way to fry them. With the woc, you can get the oil a little deeper and put in a hand full at the time even stuck together. As soon as they hit the oil, they separate and when they turn the color you like, use a wire dipper to remove ready for the next handful. . Chef Jerry

Two things, 1. Can you narrate my life? And 2. I love your recipes! As a college student and dorming it sucks when you don't know what to cook, and some of your recipes have saved me! Thank you so much!!! Keep up the good work (and food!) :D

Great video! Not like the other 14min tutorials, very simple and straight to the point. Good work.
