The video shows how the 2D Fourier transform is affected when the field of view is changed while number of pixels stays constant (essentially cropping the image and adding new pixels). The text is added post transformation.

In this video the added pixels have not been interpolated.

*The original image was recorded using a 2048x2048 digital sensor [1].
The image was recorded using a Transmission Electron Microscope [2] and depict a thin crystal of Barium Zirconate;
The number of pixels have been altered using ImageJ [3];
The Fourier transforms are made using ImageJ [3];
The stills are combined into av video using Diptic [4] and Zeitraffer [5];
